## Story

A sauna in Bali has a rule: please do not use laptops.

And: keep your voice down when on calls.

It is a hammock with a sign: no spreadsheets. Because the sauna has a new war: the stopwatch, or the löyly?

Canggu. Surfboards. Laptops. Ice barrels. A contrast class every Tuesday, four to five. And one magic number, everywhere online, for minutes of cold and minutes of sauna per week.

So where does it come from? Eight young men in Denmark. Winter swimmers. It was simply what they were already doing. The scientists expected more brown fat. They found something else. An average became a protocol.

Finland's ambassador in London said it best: the only rule in the sauna is that you do what you feel good to be doing. So bring the stopwatch, if you like. The sauna doesn't read it.

Stopwatch or löyly?

Heart condition? Ask a doctor before ice after heat. Never plunge alone.

The sign, the screens and the table in the film are our drawings, set from the wording of the club's posted etiquette and the paper's Table 1.
