So said Burger King's own website in 2019. Their words. Helsinki, Mannerheimintie, the main street: downstairs, under the restaurant. Room for fifteen, the sauna itself for ten. In the hot room, a 48-inch television. In the lounge, a bigger one, and a PlayStation 4. Food came down from upstairs. Your own drinks? Not allowed. On Fridays and Saturdays, entry to the nightclub upstairs, age limit 22. And to take home: a towel for 34 euros, a bathrobe for 60.
Now, for a Finn, this is difficult. The sauna is the slowest thing we have. We heat it slowly. We sit until we forget the time. And here, the burgers came down the stairs.
We do not discuss this. Not even quickly.
Would you have booked it?
